Affordable Fort Hood Homes High Priority for Builder

 Beverly Hills Sign

NEWS FOR FORT HOOD HOMEBUYERS

The recent release of Coldwell Banker's 2007 Home Price Comparison Index showed that Beverly Hills, California, is the most expensive place to own a home in the United States (no surprise there!)  The average price of a house in that market was $2.21 million!!.  At that price, we all should buy two or three, right?

Contrast that to the Killeen/Fort Hood area, which is considered the MOST AFFORDABLE housing market in the United States.  According to the Coldwell Banker report, a similar home sells for $136,725 in the real estate market around Fort Hood.  (No wonder investors love our market!)

While not anywhere in the league of Beverly Hills prices, that $136,725 price tag is still causing some Fort Hood area buyers to put home ownership on hold.   Finding a home at Fort Hood that comes in under the $120,000 mark is getting harder and harder.  Some builders are ignoring the needs of homebuyers and continue to build streets full of new homes priced in the $140,000-$180,000 range (go figure).

One builder IS making an attempt to meet the needs of the buyer who is looking under $120,000, though.

QCH BuildersAffordable Fort Hood Homes (owned by Randy Bruton) has been in the planning and design phase of a new construction project   for the past four months.  Randy was concerned that buyers were being priced out of the market, and he has put his significant resources and talents to work to create a new line of quality homes that are both beautiful AND affordable.

He's just started construction on several new homes that start at $119,000 for 1703 square feet (per builder plan).  These are quality homes with VERY tasteful color selections, quality carpeting, vinyl floor coverings, attractive lighting fixtures and custom cabinetry.   Randy is always concerned with providing the largest home, the best quality and the best prices possible to his buyers, and this new line of homes is no exception.

His interior design elements are installed by a local flooring company; the same company he uses for his homes in the $300,000's.  The custom cabinets are made in the same cabinet shop he uses for his upper end homes, too. The cultured marble vanities for the bathrooms are installed by the same marble vendor he uses for the larger homes.   Each home is covered by a one year builder warranty and a 2/10 structural warranty underwritten by Bonded Builders.

He also assists with your closing costs, and Upgrades are available, such as stainless appliances and ceramic tile flooring.

If you contract for a home that is under construction now, you can customize it and select the carpet, vinyl, paint, and countertops.

Be sure to contact us when you are ready to buy at Fort Hood, or ask your realtor about these affordable new homes.   They're located just ten minutes from a west gate into the main part of Fort Hood.
